Looking for the best hydrating face mask? Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Mask | Beauty

It's only been within the past year that I've started to take really good care of my skin. I rarely used to moisturise and certainly never had a solid skincare plan or routine in place. You can see from my past couple of recent posts on my morning and evening skincare routine how I'm doing with that, but recently I've started adding a weekly routine to that too, and in turn introducing the best ever hydrating face mask.

My skin type is oily but dehydrated at the same time so it can be hard to find a product that suits my skin type. My under-eye area is really dehydrated, I know I should drink more water and I've started which is helping my skin, but using the Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Mask has helped lots with this problem area too.

I've never quite come across a product like the Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Mask before. You mix the bottle of liquid (step one) with the sachet of powder (step 2) until it makes a product that has the consistency of porridge. You simply apply the product to your face, as you would a normal mask, and leave to dry for 15 minutes. The product left my skin feeling cool and soothed. When I read the instructions advising me to peel the mask off I thought it was going to be such a hard job like most peel off masks however, it dries to a jelly-like consistency and peels of incredibly easy. My skin felt so soft afterwards, and remained so for a couple of days too even with my usual skincare routines. It gave me that extra boost of moisture that my skin needed.

The mask contains vitamin B5, zinc oxide and alltonin to help promote skin renewal whilst leaving your skin feeling silky soft after use. There are four of these masks in the kit, and I would recommend perhaps using one every two weeks to a month.

This product, although costly at £65.00, is fantastic. If only I had have known about this before my long-haul flights as this product is ideal for air-drying environments and that is one of the worst I can think of. It would be ideal for sunburn too, and for anyone with allergies or sensitivities (like myself).

You can find the Erno Laszlo Hydra-Therapy Skin Vitality Mask over on Beauty Expert for £65*, amongst a range of other products. I've been eyeing up more of the range, especially Sea Mud Deep Cleansing bar.
