Vintage Kilo Sale, Leeds (Saturday 13th June) | Fashion

For those of you who don't know, the Vintage Kilo Sale will be back in Leeds this Saturday (13th June) and I will definitely be in attendance again. Last time I didn't manage to have a good rummage as I was on crutches and couldn't wiggle myself around much to get to the dress rail. All this has changed and I will definitely be making my presence known this time around!

So what is the Vintage Kilo Sale? Exactly what it says on the tin, a sale of vintage clothes and you pay by the kilo. Each kilo costs £15 and is weighed at the scales to determine the price. When you first arrive, the lovely ladies at the door will give you a bag for all your goodies, you then have a good look around and a rummage to find yourself some vintage treats! Take your bag(s) to the scales for your price. Normally for 1kg you can pick up around 4 items of clothing, but that of course depends on your size and the products you are purchasing.

The Vintage Kilo Sale is situated in Trinity Church in Leeds, that's the Church that's directly in front of Trinity Shopping Centre so you an make a good shopping day out of it! The event is open from 11am until 4pm, and if you want to enter early for all your bargains you can pay £3 for early bird access. This is what I chose to do last time and the queue was already down the road at 11am! I think this time I'll head in for 12pm when (I'm hoping!) it might be a little quieter. General entry from 12pm is £1.50. You also have your hand stamped so you can enter as many times as you would like through the day.

I'm really pleased to say for this event I will be the Vintage Kilo Sale's blogger, so if any of you see me, please say hi!
