When George challenged me to use one item and style it three ways I jumped at the chance. I'm in the middle of creating a capsule/staple wardrobe and love adding key pieces I can wear several ways.
The star of the show is a black midi bodycon dress that costs £10!
I've decided that rather than having one blog post dedicated to three outfits, I would spread it out over a few posts for when I'm away next week too.
So this is my first outfit. I thought I would honour the festival season with my first outfit, and offer something with a bit of a boho style. I've been looking for the perfect pair of Western boots but have to find them (I'm still searching vintage shops and on eBay!) so I decided to team the outfit with a pair of tan Chelsea boots. I'm in love with the coral crochet tassel waistcoat and I can see this being worn loads when the weather is a lot warmer. My bag is a really old plaid bucket bag I bought years ago and recently found in the back of the wardrobe during a clear out.
George black midi bodycon dress* £10 | George crochet tassel waistcoat* £14 | Dorothy Perkins tan Chelsea gusset boots £12.50 in the sale | Tan faux leather plaid bucket bag (old) | Navy and red chain headscarf (vintage)
