My #MorningMane | Beauty

Have you seen that @LeoVegasUK are holding a #MorningMane competition over on Twitter? You can easily enter by tweeting your morning mane before and after shots to win a £75 salon voucher! The competition ends on April 6th so you still have plenty of time to get your entry in!
Having short hair can be one of the easiest things, or the hardest things. It's a lesser of two evils really, it's quick and easy to style, manageable and advantageous if you like to dye it often like I do. However, if it is a short as mine it'll have a tendency to be spiked up every morning and all over the place; no amount of product can fix that so I have to wash it every day without fail.

I'm really not a pretty sight when I wake up, so definitely have to do something about it! I used a lot of products in my morning hair routine, as I mentioned earlier because I have to wash it first. Here are the products I use on a daily basis:
1. First of all I have to wash and condition my hair, I always use Creightons Keratin Pro shampoo and conditioner, both £1.99 online (most of their products can be found in Poundland too).

2. After towel drying my hair, I apply the Lee Stafford Argan Oil range. Firstly using the Nourising Miracle Oil* (£11.99) and then drying with the Lee Stafford Blow and Dry Argan Oil hairdryer (£19.99) (it's amazing!), then following with the Lee Stafford Argan Oil Anti-Frizz Serum Spray  (£9.99) just to take everything down before I apply the remaining products. As you can tell, I happen to like Lee Stafford products. I've used them for several years and they never let me down.

3. The final step, 'modelling' my hair. As it's short I like to keep it messy with a bit of volume. I start by using the L'Oreal Go Create Sculptung Spritz, this is a bit like a spray wax and helps define my layers giving me a messy look. I also like to set my hair by using the Schwarzkopf Got2B 2 Sexy Volumising Hairspray (£4.19) to keep it all in order and add a little more volume to my layers.

So you see, even when my hair looks messy so much effort has gone into keeping that bed head look!

Let me know if you enter the competition, I'd love to see your before and after shots!
