Today I decided to make myself a super cute bunny jar, and spray paint a couple of lids of other jars in the process.
Okay, so what you will need firstly is a jar. Any jar will do but I have millions of baby food jars around the house so I thought it would be the perfect size. Next you will need a bunny, now I bought this from eBay as a 'miniature doll house' size. I also bought a few more woodland critters to decorate other items with. A strong industrial adhesive glue, or maybe super glue. I just have plenty of craft glue in! And lastly, spray paint, any will do really as long as it's suitable for metal and plastic. I chose gold.
The steps are so easy!
1. Glue your bunny on to the lid and make sure it's thoroughly dry before the next step.
2. Spray the lid, now I did this in several steps to ensure I had enough paint on to cover all the areas of the bunny, he's a fiddly little fellow!
3. Just pop the lid on the top of your jar and fill with what you want! I'm using it for my desk so it's the perfect size for paper clips.
This is really cute! Will have to try this one :3

DeleteThis is so cute! I'm raging I got rid of all the jars I'd been stashing since Caelen was little. I'd been hanging on to them for about two years waiting to do something fun with them... Typical I'd never think of something like this!
