Bedroom Wish List - The Linen Edition | Lifestyle & My Motherhood Diary

If you've been following my mini series on my apartment renovation in China, you'll see that we have completely blank canvasses to work with; and I'm super excited that I get to choose everything that will be going in my rooms. I'm starting to gather together interior and furnishing ideas so I thought I'd start sharing with you.

It's such a shame that I can't get all the products I want over in China, but they do have completely different interior styles than we do in the UK, and I'm still stuck on our amazing products at such good prices too. I'll probably end up buying my homewares and furnishings here and take them with me! I don't think hubby will be too happy about that, the price of shipping is ever increasing.

I thought I would focus my bedroom wish list on linen, I really think having a fabric statement piece can make a room, and with the walls being white we really need to add a splash of colour. Here are a couple of duvet sets that I'm currently lusting after.
I love the Orla Kiely style to this 'Lulu' double duvet set from the Yorkshire Linen Co., and absolute bargain at £14.99. The 'Voyage Multi' double duvet set really shows our personalities and passion for travelling, coming in at a steal again at £16.99. And last but not least on my list, I love shabby chic interiors, so this 'Pretty as a Picture' double duvet colour presses all the buttons, pricing up at £19.99 it still beats many duvet sets on the high street.

Now I couldn't forget about Dexter's room could I? Even though he's still in a cot, which will essentially turn into a cot bed, I couldn't resist having a sneaky peak at some of the children's sets Yorkshire Linen Co. had on the go. Here are a couple of my favourite picks.
I love the wildlife theme, and Dexter has plenty of furnishings that would already match the 'Woodland Creatures' single duvet set, £11.99. He's also a huge fan of Peppa Pig, and we love everything Peppa related in our household, what better than to add the 'Peppa Pig Fun Fair' single duvet set to the collection? A steal at £9.99. Grey and yellow are two of my favourite colours, and I love the contrast between them, this 'Metropolis' single duvet set is still fun with it's car print, but adds a muted neutral tone touch to any room without being overpowering in colour. This comes in at £12.99.

So what do you think about my furnishing fashion? What would you have chosen?
