Willow / Will of Iron Triathlon 2nd-8th May | Lifestyle

The Willow Foundation are a fantastic charity that help provide special days for seriously ill adults. I can say that I've worked with the charity before in a previous life (well you know what I mean) a long time ago, and lets say they made a young girl extremely happy in her last days, so thank you for that. It's not just a special day, it's the support they offer, and the chance to get families back together and connect on a completely different level, whilst making some amazing memories when it's needed the most. It can make such an impact on lives when it's really needed. Anyway, back to it!

They currently have a challenge going at the moment for the Will of Iron triathalon, something that I personally won't be taking part in as I certainly don't have the fitness level or mentality to be able to do something so enduring in my current health state; so I thought I would help promote it.

They are looking for extraordinary people who can do this and raise money for such a fantastic charity. The challenge is to take part the week commencing 2nd May until 8th May with a swim of 2.4 miles, cycle of 112 miles, and a run of 26.2 miles. Now I wouldn't even be able to run a mile let alone that! You can take part as a team, on your own, outdoors or even indoors at the gym. If you feel you can't achieve it all on your own, why not join up as a team and do a few miles each? The only rule is that you need to be able to complete this challenge over a period of seven consecutive days, and it costs £25 to join.

It's for such a worthwhile cause, and definitely one to get on board with if you can do!
