#KeighleyAppreciation | The Print Room

I apologise in advance for all the photos, I took lots and couldn't pick!

I rarely get time to pop into Keighley and explore little areas of the town. One place I've recently discovered and become really fond of is Royal Arcade. There are a few really cute and quirky shops within this complex, and also where I used to get my hair cut.

The Print Room is the brainchild of Kate, a First Class Honours student of Leeds Art College. There she studied Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design which inspired her to open her own business. Kate doesn't just feature her own designs and products in the Print Room, it's also become a destination for other local independent artists to sell their beautiful handmade products too, along with being a mini art gallery too.

The Print Room stocks many different items such as cards, vases, decorations, jewellery, prints, cushions, and my favourite, stationary!
There are so many gorgeous items, I don't even know where to start!
You can also attend design classes too.
At the moment there are places available for the greetings card screen printing workshop hosted by the vey talented Kirstie Williams. At £25 per ticket, for refreshments and all materials provided, it's a definite for a beginner to art like me!

I'm excited to be going to this workshop tomorrow, keep your eyes peeled!
Why not share the love? You can visit the Print Room in Keighley,
or say hi to Kate on Twitter and Facebook too.
