#HouseOfFashion Event from House of Fraser

I was invited to a fantastic event last week from House of Fraser. This was a charity event in aid of the Children's Heart Surgery Fund, and overall they raised a fantastic £1,100 throughout the night with a raffle and donations. I didn't win anything unfortunately, but had my eye on the limited edition glitter coated Jagermeister bottle.
(Me, the gorgeous Kellie, and Toni)

There was a catwalk show showcasing the spring/summer collections from some of the brands featured in House of Fraser, such as Lush Apparel and Lisa Jayne Dann. Some gorgeous clothing, although a lot of it personally wasn't to my tastes I thought it was a little bit 'young' for me. Although, the bearded tattooed model certainly was (we shall see a bit more of him later in the post…).
My favourite outfit of the night had to be this little monochrome number. I'm such a fan of crisp white blouses with a skirt combo. The military boots and leather gloves really finish this outfit off. I could think of lots of different ways to style this too.
One of the MUA's from Bobbi Brown attended too and gave a live make up demonstration. Unfortunately she was on the catwalk with her model and the lighting wasn't the best to get a good quality photo of her. But we were able to have a chat with them about different various keys looks we could achieve. I've never tried out any of their products before but would be really interested in popping in now to have a chat with them on how to recreate striking looks.
I was so lucky to receive a well filled goody bag too, with lots of perfume samples and Rituals products!
I told you you would see a little more of the bearded beauty at the end… There was an extremely raunchy ending to the catwalk. You can tell I was interested as all the photos of this scene have me with the camera in my hands!

A big thank you to House of Fraser for inviting me along and giving me and amazing night, and to Natalie Clince for the amazing photos and for having a fabulous blog - everyone should follow her!

  1. At first I was going to comment on the bravery of those folk parading in their underwear... but then I saw what looks like one of the models smoking and the Daily Mail reader in me has to make some type of remark about this instead.
    Looks a fun event!
