A Luxurious Trip to Leeds

Normally when I head into Leeds for a shopping trip I pop into Primark and New Look then have a bite to eat. Oh no, not last weekend, both me and Kelly were treat like absolute queens.

First of all I opted for brunch in Roast + Conch where everything on their menu is inspired or contains cocoa. I have never experienced a menu like it before, nor have seen so many gorgeous cakes! I have to have a salted caramel hot chocolate with a slice of banana bread. Simply divine.
From there we popped into the Joy store. I didn't realise at the time they were showing their new collection and having a bit of a party to celebrate. That's when I had my first free alcoholic drink of the day, and nachos with salsa! Yummy. I tried a couple of dresses on but they didn't really suit me, but whilst I was there I thought I would take a few changing room shots of my outfit for the day. Which I am proud to say when I walked out of the store got me 'style stalked' for street style! I would never have imagined a fat, bald girl to be snapped up, but it shows that you can still be trendy!
Following that, we popped to have lunch with Clare in Trinity Kitchen, where I obviously chose to have chicken katsu from Yu Kyu. I love a bit of Japanese!
After our lunch, we popped into Illamasqua so I could be foundation matched. Since I've shaved my hair off I've noticed my BB cream is a little orange to match my scalp. They matched me perfectly. I'm not sure why I've never been in before but their cosmetics are amazing. One of their MUA's also defined my eyebrows for me and showed me a few more of their products.

Kelly took me into L'Occitane for the first time, and the same for Neal's Yard, where I obviously had to treat myself. I'll be popping up individual posts for these later. But gosh, being treat to herbal tea and a glass of rose wine, along with a gorgeous hand massage is definitely what I could get used to.
Obviously I did have to buy a few things, but there will be individual posts coming up on these later. I thought I would leave you all in suspense, plus this has turned into being a very image heavy post, sorry!
