Weekly adorations #6

Well it has been a considerable amount of time since I did my last weekly adoration post, and there has been so much I love and cherish over the past four weeks that I don't know where to start!

1. Traditional Chinese food. It's been ages since I've had a proper home cooked Chinese meal, and I've really missed it! I had the honour of making my first dumplings with the MIL and they were absolutely gorgeous. Definitely something I will be doing more in the UK for my family.
2. The healthy lifestyle of China. I really enjoyed being part of a healthier lifestyle in China and really felt the benefits. Having massages and the MIL walking on my back was an eye opener, along with eating more home cooked and fresh foods, and walking for an hour to the local shop! I miss this lifestyle but I find it's very hard to keep up with it in the UK as we always rush everything.
3. Coming back to stability. I don't like change, at all. I don't like not having a plan or being in control of what happens so I'm really grateful for coming back to the UK and having stability. I know it will be different when I move to China as I'll have my own home and job, being passed from pillar to post has really affected me over the past few weeks.
4. Religion. I never thought I would find myself as a follower of a faith. I have always been interested in religions and find them fascinating but until I visited Thousand Buddha Mountain in Jinan, I never really experieced myself having faith. I really enjoyed this spiritual experience with the husband of praying and lighting incense. It's made me appreciate life more.
5. That first chai latte when I reached the UK! I won't lie, but yesterday morning before I got to work I had my first chai latte in over four weeks, it was the best thing ever. Sure Starbucks is the same in China but I didn't find the coffee as satisfying as going to McCafe for a frappe!

Sorry this has been a lengthy post, I have so much to say about my trip, there we be A LOT of photo heavy posts coming up over the next few weeks!
